[INK]. Thank you very much for your monthly circulars, especially we thank you for the Circular No. 992. Our community had an in depth study of the 992 circular. Here are some of our reflections.
1. How to re discover new life that awakens in the communities the freshness of vocational fecundity, the joy, the missionary openness of the origins?
We rediscover new life through
Daily reflection on the word of God, meaningful living of the prayer moments and active participation in the Holy Eucharist
Celebrating the differences in others by accepting every one with their assets and liabilities
Accepting the mission entrusted to each one and giving their best to achieve it
Active and cheerful presence in various moments of togetherness
Cultivating the spirit of oneness
Placing complete trust in divine providence like our first sisters of Mornese.
2. How can we help each other to be more aware of the active and transforming presence of the Holy Spirit in our personal and community experience, in the life of the children, of the young, of the people we meet?
We can help each other by
Opening the gates of our hearts to welcome the children, youth and women and creating trust in them through family spirit
Evaluating our being and doing so as to know to what extent the Holy Spirit works in us and through us
Reading and assimilating the actions of the Holy Spirit.
living a life harmoniously in spite of the difference in the age, culture and language
Generating life through formative presence, peace, mercy and forgiveness
3. What attention of the heart is needed to perceive His voice, His light?
A heart that is
Docile to the Holy Spirit
Maintains inner silence and open to the grace of God
Pays attention to once own inner self and the areas where one need to grow
Cultivates good disposition of the heart to be attuned to the Spirit of God
4. Why the encounter which according to Don Bosco is the key to open hearts has fallen into disuse in some of our realities.
Encounter is a time of grace, touches our personal life and gives energy to the gestures of daily community life. It is a spontaneous act done in an atmosphere of trust and confidence.
It has fallen in to disuse in some of our realities because of lack of interest in spiritual
growth, openness, trust, confidence and understanding. When limitations are shared, later we look at the person with the same perspective. Some are afraid to face the negative side of once own self.
