REFLECTIONS ON OUR SHARING and OUR COMMITMENT OF GRATITUDE TO MOTHER YVONNE
We want to keep our eyes on Mary and ponder her YES to God, her dialogue of love with Him, at the start and throughout her life, a pilgrimage of faith. She had joys and sorrows, but kept her silent gaze on Jesus and was faithful. We must pray to her and ask her to help us in continuing our initial YES to Jesus, living in joyful service to our Sisters in community and to the neediest in our mission. Like her, we want to “go in haste”, attentive to the needs of others, and care for them silently and without resentment or complaint. At whatever stage of life we are, we want to focus on the present, asking to be open to what each day brings, even things against our will, and join our sufferings to those of Jesus and Mary, believing that they can generate new life.
We commit ourselves to continue to have Jesus at the Center, especially in the Eucharist and in our deep encounters with Him in our prayer. Mary also walks with us, ever present in our lives, accompanying us as we journey in our vocation. Our relationship with Jesus and Mary leads us naturally to experience their joy and love for us, which spontaneously makes us spread it to our community members and to the young. Community is a gift! We cannot live our vocation without it. Our hearts are filled with gratitude for each other! Expressing our joy to those who surround us is in itself a form of evangelization that brings a sense of security to all. We want
to commit to a life of kindness and love through readiness for sacrifice and for working together, showing esteem for one another and asking forgiveness when needed, in an atmosphere of Community-Communion.
