Dalla Comunita Mary Help of Christians – Corralitos – Ispettoria SUO – California, USA
Circular # 987
Question # 1
Let us open our heart’s door and ask ourselves, how Mary’s humble, courageous, dynamic yes, can make our daily yes to God more aware and deeper so that we may be increasingly available to Him and at the service of the people He entrusts to us, especially the neediest?
We feel that this Lenten season has called us to make great social sacrifices. Yet somehow, it has lessened the distance among ourselves in community. The bonds of communion have been strengthened as we have become more aware of each other with a renewed vision. It is indeed powerful to see how our Sisters have become more available to lend support to each other as each one is carrying out an exceptional mission in her new instructional environment of Distance Learning. The core of who we are as community will define us and see us through this pandemic together. Like Mary, we too say, yes to God’s plan for us at this time.
Question # 2
Is this not what we desire for our communities; to be accompanied by Mary so that those who meet us can feel that our hearts burn with love given with tenderness and gratuity; that our experience of God may become the power of evangelization, spreading the passion for vocations?
Is this not what we desire for our communities’ to be accompanied by Mary so that those who meet us can feel that our hearts burn with love given with tenderness and gratuity; that our experience of God may become the power of evangelization, spreading the passion for vocations?
It is at the time of this current crisis that we want to emerge as a stronger community filled with the zeal of evangelization. With a firm belief in the presence of Our Blessed Mother walking by our side we can tangibly feel the overwhelming support of our collaborators, our parents and friends. Not a day goes by that someone does not come up to bring sweets, vegetables, and fruit or call in to check on the Sisters or email to find out if we need any groceries or errands. All this is done in a simple tender loving display of genuine and affectionate concern. It is obvious that they have seen the passion of our response to the call of our vocation by our witness that has touched their lives and brought them closer to God.
