Reflections on the study on Circular letter of Mother General No. 992
1. Which attitudes must I cultivate in order to live daily relationships with
renewed love and hope, the sign that ‘something new’ is happening?
The attitudes of genuine love for others and openness towards the other to accept new ideas, respecting and accepting the character differences and mutual support to build up better relationship in the community. Accepting the fact we are fragile and weak helps to accept the situations and persons as they are and cultivate a loving understanding to excuse the mistakes of others.
2. How can we help each other to be more aware of the active and transforming presence of the Holy Spirit in our personal and community experience, in the life of the children, of the young, of the people we meet?
Personal encounter with God which is the ‘good wine’ help each other to be more aware of the active and transforming presence of the Holy Spirit. It creates in us a broader space to welcome the spirit of God to listen to Him and draw the daily energy to strengthen the mission of the community. This changes the daily routine having tasted the fascination of following Jesus and to bear witness in the mission through the proclamation. The encounter contributes to reciprocal forgiveness accepting the human fragility.
3. What attention of the heart is needed to perceive His voice, His light?
A humble attitude just like a child to listen to the voice of God and find Jesus’ humanness in its fullness which in turn inspires us to welcome the other with humane qualities. To keep our hearts docile to listen to the inspirations of God.
While reading the word of God, attention of the heart is needed to recognize the areas in personal life and mission where the word can be fruitful in bearing the desired fruit.
