- Which attitudes must I cultivate in order to live daily relationships with renewed love, hope the sign that ‘something new’ is happening?
Being deeply human in our dealings and approaches like finding joy in giving and receiving simple gestures of acceptance, respect, empathetic concern, patience, trust and attention.
In sincere striving to overcome differences, tensions and conflicts with the continued gift of peace and forgiveness of the Holy Eucharist taking one step forward intentionally and personally to be kind, going beyond our own pity self-interests and in solidarity with everyone especially reaching out to the poor and the suffering humanity. Thus contributing to the synodal fact of generativity.
- How can we help each other to be more aware of the active and transforming presence of the Holy Spirit in our personal and community experience, in the life of the children, of the young, of the people we meet?
One can become aware of the active and transforming presence of the Holy Spirit when there exists reciprocal acceptance, patience, loving attentive attention in listening and trust that sprouts from freedom and spontaneity.
- What attention of the heart is needed to perceive His voice, His light?
Our saintly mother St. Mary Mazzarello had already said aloud that in future the world will slowly come inside and …now the feeling of self-sufficiency (I can manage myself) destroys the original family spirit and weakens the genuine love, sense of belonging and dependency on the other. The need of the hour is our openness to the Lord God in humility and simplicity, getting back to the original path of Jesus and the spirit of Mornese, energized by the God centeredness to set out to “serve the Lord in gladness”.
