Circular of Mother General No.992.
Which attitudes must I cultivate in order to live daily relationships with renewed love and hope, the sign that ‘something new’ is happening?
We need to cultivate the attitude of universal solidarity, universal brotherhood, with no difference between nation, region, religion, language, class, caste and culture and help others to do so.
Prepare new wine of God-Centeredness which is the spirituality of the beginning of the humanity and put on the original culture of universal brotherhood by throwing out the mantle of modern culture that creates division.
Take a ‘U’ turns courageously, leaving the present path of arrogance, pride, justification ecc.
Get back to the original path of Jesus, embraced by Don Bosco and Mother Mazzarello which leads to fulfill the purpose of God in living our daily relationship with renewed love and hope.
Preserve the planet with eco spirituality by promoting selflessness, justice, social and political harmony and respect for creation.
Undo old structures that are not conducive to internal harmony and construct new ones based on contact with God and universal solidarity.
How can we help each other to be more aware of the active and transforming presence of the Holy Spirit in our personal and community experience, in the life of the children, of the young, of the people we meet?
By becoming conscious of our thinking patterns and oral communications being convinced of that our deeds are the handiwork of our thoughts and words.
Evaluating our being and doing so as to know to what extent the Holy Spirit works in us and through us.
Reading and assimilating the actions of the Holy Spirit mentioned in the Bible.
Sending out the ripples of the above by our witness anchored in the Spirit.
What attention of the heart is needed to perceive His voice, His light? To be always seeking, desirous of encountering the love of our life is a fundamental attitude that He Himself arouses in us.
With the spirit of humility paying attention to our inner self that we have already constructed; to areas which we need to rip and the areas where we need to grow stronger and to cultivate in us a great desire to be attuned to the Spirit of God.
